However, as I type this in it is Easter morning and all my dreams of bringing something to the breakfast at church have vanished because of uncertainty. What was I thinking I am prepared for, anyway? Well, I did have some leftover homemade cinnamon bread in the freezer and I thought if I laid it out in a pan and put cinnamon honey cashew butter all over it I could pawn it off as coffee cake. Of course it's really mouth watering delicious. There's absolutely no doubt about that. It's just here isn't enough. And thus the doubt of what I would be getting myself into. You see I don't have an intricate part in my the local church. I have my little issues over receiving communion and my Deacon friend would much rather see my conformity than anything else. What is all this got to do with world hunger... the hundreds of Millions? I'm used to holding on to what I've got and I just keep collecting more junk. It wasn't junk one day when I got it. The problem is collectively I have too many things that I don't use. I have too much talent measured by compassion that I don't do anything with. We all see food thrown away. For example, Dunkin' Donuts won't give there donuts to charity that they didn't sell. I might let some grapes or bananas go bad.... I don't know. Some seed is planted today in my heart to try and do something more than I have. I grew up having to finish things on the plate I didn't want or couldn't stand while being fed the line. Children are starving in China. Well, I found out that China is communist and that would be bad for America if they were to blah blah blah. Brainwash Babel. We all have excuses not to care right now. I have found a reason to make sure that I care right now. Thanks for reading this!
